We are a church made up of real people who are rooted in both the historic Christian faith and the communities in which we live. Our aim is to provide a church experience that is restful and accessible for our neighbors.

We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) commited to Biblical, confessional, Reformed truth; to rich Christian community; and to historic corporate worship.

Meet our team

Elders

Story Church is led by a team of elders — pastors and shepherds who care for the spiritual health of the church family. The Bible describes elders as servant-leaders who pray for God’s people, teach God’s Word, and help guide the church in faithfulness to Jesus. Together, our elders serve as a Session — providing shared leadership and oversight under Christ, the true head of the church.

Jeremy King

Pastor

Jeremy lives in Mayfield Heights with his wife Sarah and three children, Theodore, Julia, and Eleanor. A graduate of Ohio University with BA in World Religions, Jeremy attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where he earned his Master of Divinity. Jeremy hails from the Buckeye State and grew up in the suburbs of Columbus. On his days off you’ll often find Jeremy hiking at North Chagrin Reservation with his family, or enjoying a good drink and reading an even better book. 

Kendall Richards

Church Life Coordinator

Kendall lives in University Heights with her husband Peter, daugher Reese, and dog, Lucy. She orchestrates outreach events, church-life activities and communication for Story Church. She and Peter have been members of Story Church since 2021.

Amanda Pestotnik

Story Kids Team Leader

Amanda lives in Mayfield Heights with her husband Matt and two children. She coordinates the nursery and Children’s Church teams, and provides vision and direction for the Story Kids ministry. Amanda has a BA in Education from St. Louis University and a Master of Science in Educational Technology from the University of Central Missouri. While not from Cleveland originally, Amanda loves Ohio and especially the nearby Metroparks. She and Matt have been members of Story Church since 2022.
